Job summary

RELX in the Philippines seeks a Finance professional to ensure timely preparation of financial statements and audit schedules in compliance with local regulations.

You will support tax compliance, collaborate with Global Finance Shared Services, and help drive process improvements in R2R, P2P, and CRR workflows while maintaining high accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks are essential for success.

Qualifications

• A university degree in accounting or relevant professional qualifications.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and taxation principles.
• High familiarity with Oracle R12 and Blackline.
• Knowledge of R2R, P2P, and CRR processes.
• Excellent organization and problem-solving in high-volume environments.
• Strong MS Excel skills and ability to learn AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage the annual audit process and statutory accounts within deadlines.
• Enforce accounting regulations and identify process improvements.
• Compile and review financial information for Finance and other business units.
• Collaborate with GFS and business units to improve tax and statutory reporting.
• Identify risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
