Job summary

Megaworld Corporation is seeking an Accounting Analyst in Manila to prepare accurate financial statements, manage AP/AR, and support monthly and year-end closing. You will ensure data integrity, generate reports for management, and collaborate across departments on financial transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; experience in accounting or finance is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Eastwood, Quezon City.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
• Generate periodic financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Manage and process accounts payable (AP), including invoice verification and payment processing.
• Oversee accounts receivable (AR), including billing, collections, and reconciliation of customer accounts.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain and update general ledger entries.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and internal controls.
• Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with other departments regarding financial transactions and reporting needs.
