Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management is seeking a junior accountant to join our finance team in Makati. You will handle bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and assist with monthly financial statements under supervision.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and 1–3 years of related experience, with strong Excel skills and knowledge of VAT and local tax rules. On-site work in Metro Manila with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in bookkeeping, general accounting, or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices and customer billing; track outstanding collections.
• Prepare daily journal vouchers; reconcile balances and maintain general ledger.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist with tax filing prep (VAT, withholding taxes) and audits.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
