Job summary

PHILIPPINE CHILDRENS MEDICAL CENTER is seeking an organized accounting professional to support monthly closes and general ledger activities in our Manila-based finance team. The role focuses on bank reconciliations, journal entries, and IMS standards compliance, working closely with the Chief Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and able to communicate with internal and external parties while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly reconciliation of bank statements, including outstanding, cancelled and stale checks, plus journal entry vouchers.
• Records all journal entries in the general ledger.
• Acts as custodian of the general ledger and other accounting reports.
• Assists the Chief Accountant in preparing correspondence and liaises with internal/external parties.
• Prepares subsidiary ledgers to assigned accounts.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the Chief Accountant.
• Ensures compliance with IMS (Integrated Management System) Standards and Policies.
