Job summary

VG Construction Services, OPC seeks a detail-oriented Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, manage AP/AR, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with Philippine regulations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of accounting experience, a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/Finance, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently. CPA is an advantage.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant accounting work experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Philippine tax regulations (BIR) and compliance.
• Proficient in Excel and financial software.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and update accurate financial records and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable with proper documentation.
• Monitor daily financial transactions and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with BIR regulations and assist in tax filing.
• Review financial records for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide requested documents.
• Maintain organized accounting files and documentation.
