Job summary

MEGA SK INDUSTRIAL CORPORATION in the Philippines is seeking a competent Accountant to support and manage the Group's accounting operations across trading, industrial, and real estate units. You will maintain accurate financial records, ensure regulatory compliance with PFRS and applicable taxes, support internal controls, and provide financial analysis to help drive operational decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and Philippine taxation.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and integrity.
• Familiarity with accounting systems (QuickBooks or ERP) is an advantage but not required.
• Willing to work on a Monday to Saturday work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll support, and month-end/year-end closing activities
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)
• Assist in ensuring compliance with BIR, SEC, LGU, and other regulatory requirements
• Support tax filings and coordinate documentation for external auditors and consultants
• Assist during the annual audit process and preparation of audit requirements
• Maintain organized financial documentation and accounting records
• Monitor receivables, payables, and assist in tracking cash flow
• Assist in inventory, procurement, and other financial transaction monitoring
• Support the preparation of reports required by management
• Assist in budgeting preparation and financial monitoring
• Provide basic financial analysis and reports to support operational decisions
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting entries
