Job summary

Virtual Business Partners LLC is seeking an Accountant to support financial reporting and month-end close for multiple entities. The role emphasizes accurate preparation of reconciliations, journals, and management reporting, with focus on data integrity and timely analysis for management review.

The candidate will work with ERP systems, perform variance analysis, and help improve processes and controls. Strong Excel skills and an accounting degree (CPA/CA studies desirable) are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in shared services or multi-entity finance.
• Proficient in reconciliations, journals, accruals and variance commentary.
• Strong Excel capabilities with ledgers and reporting tools.
• Detail-oriented with accurate, well-substantiated financial data.
• Clear written and verbal communication with onshore stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations with documented items.
• Prepare journals, accruals, adjustments and close supports.
• Assist intercompany accounting and consolidation needs.
• Produce management reporting packs and variance commentary.
• Investigate unusual movements with clear explanations and evidence.
• Maintain process documentation and control standards.
• Support ERP migrations and system improvement initiatives.
