Job summary

LaVie Resort and Casino Manila is seeking an Accountant for Entity Accounting to manage journals, reconcile balance sheets, and support R2R processes across assigned entities. You will prepare financial schedules and maintain organized working papers to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely month-end close.

The role requires a BS in Accountancy, while CPA is preferred. 1–3 years of accounting experience and exposure to financial reporting or consolidation are advantageous for this

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or related field required.
• Certified Public Accountant is preferred.
• 1–3 years accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and journal review is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reporting schedules, roll-forwards, and supporting documentation for assigned entities.
• Prepare and record adjusting entries, including accruals, amortization, reclassifications, and other month-end adjustments.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet schedules, including prepayments, accruals, PPE, and related accounts.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate reconciling items for accurate cash balances.
• Execute end-to-end Record-to-Report activities for smaller entities, including AP, AR, payroll, and tax-related transactions.
• Prepare and support statutory tax filings, including VAT, withholding, payroll-related taxes, and other regulatory requirements.
• Execute month-end close activities within established timelines with complete working papers.
• Provide audit and reporting support by preparing audit schedules, explanations, and coordinating with Tax Team during reviews.
