Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee accounting, taxation, audit and statutory compliance for multiple entities, mainly in F&B. The role focuses on reviewing and finalising accounts, year-end closing, tax filings and statutory matters.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, be able to work independently, and possess strong knowledge of SG accounting and IRAS/ACRA requirements. Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks is desirable.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree/LCCI or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Able to handle full set of accounts independently.
• Good knowledge of Singapore accounting, tax and statutory requirements.
• Familiar with IRAS, ECI, Corporate Income Tax and ACRA matters.
• Experience in statutory audit and preparation of Financial Statements.
• Experience handling multiple companies is an advantage.
• Good Excel and accounting software skills (QuickBooks).

Responsibilities

• Review bookkeeping entries and make necessary accounting adjustments.
• Handle full set of accounts, reconciliations and month/year-end closing.
• Prepare Financial Statements and supporting schedules.
• Prepare ECI, Corporate Income Tax computations and tax filings.
• Handle IRAS notices, queries and tax-related matters.
• Coordinate with external auditors and attend to audit queries.
• Review audit schedules, Financial Statements and audit adjustments.
• Handle GST matters where applicable.
• Review intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Monitor accounting, tax, audit and statutory filing deadlines.

About the role

Routine data entry and bookkeeping are handled by a separate team. The Accountant will focus on reviewing, adjusting and finalising accounts, year-end closing, tax, audit and statutory matters.
