Job summary

BGI MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting, taxation, audit, and statutory compliance for a portfolio of companies in the F&B sector.

This role focuses on reviewing, adjusting, and finalising accounts, year-end closing, and tax filings, while routine data entry is handled by a separate team. The ideal candidate holds an accounting qualification with 3–5 years of relevant experience and is proficient in Singapore accounting standards,

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree/LCCI or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Able to handle full set accounts independently.
• Good knowledge of Singapore accounting, tax and statutory requirements.
• Familiar with IRAS, ECI, Corporate Income Tax and ACRA matters.
• Experiences in statutory audit and preparation of Financial Statements.
• Experiences in handling of multiple companies is an advantage.
• F&B /food industry experience is an advantage.
• Good Excel and accounting software skills (QuickBook).
• Meticulous, organised and able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review bookkeeping entries and make necessary accounting adjustments.
• Handle full set accounts, reconciliations and month/year-end closing.
• Prepare Financial Statements and supporting schedules.
• Prepare ECI, Corporate Income Tax Computations and tax filings.
• Handle IRAS notices, queries and tax-related matters.
• Coordinate with external auditors and attend to audit queries.
• Review audit schedules, Financial Statements and audit adjustments.
• Handle GST matters where applicable.
• Review intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Monitor accounting, tax, audit and statutory filing deadlines.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, banks and government authorities.
• Review F&B sales, purchases, expenses and other operational accounting records where required.
• Assist management with accounting, financial and compliance matters.
