• CPA is an advantage but not required.
• At least 2 years of general accounting experience.
• Knowledgeable in Bookkeeping, Financial reporting and government compliance.
• Proficient and knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel and Accounting Software.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile financial transactions per policy.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts with monthly reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Aid with audit by organizing documentation and schedules.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable timely.
• Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with payroll processing and statutory compliance.
• Support tax compliance and documentation preparation.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Maintain detailed records and collaborate with other departments.
• Ensure compliance with BIR and government requirements.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

About the role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Accountant to join the financial team at SINO ROAD AND BRIDGE GROUP CO., LTD. in Manila City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity and compliance of our organization. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring that all accounting practices align with regulatory requirements and company policies. This role is essential to supporting the strategic decision-making processes across the organization and maintaining stakeholder confidence in our financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Recording and reconciling financial transactions in accordance with standard practice and company policies.
• Preparing and maintaining general ledger accounts and ensuring accurate account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Assisting with the audit process by organizing documentation and providing supporting schedules to external auditors.
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Reconciling bank statements and investigating discrepancies to ensure cash accuracy.
• Assisting with payroll processing and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
• Supporting tax compliance activities and assisting with the preparation of tax documentation.
• Identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies and errors.
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation to support all financial transactions.
• Collaborating with other departments to gather financial information and clarify transaction details.
• Ensuring compliance with BIR and other government requirements as per standard practice.
• Performing other accounting related duties as assigned.
