Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with 1–2 years of experience to support daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, and assist with reporting, while ensuring compliance with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations.
Responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy of financial records, compliance with Philippine accounting standards, and supporting financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations and tax filings.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Support external and internal audits by providing required documentation.
- Process payroll and ensure statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) are accurate and timely.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial transactions.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
- Familiarity with BIR reporting and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
