Account Director

Location: Taguig City (Hybrid)

Team: Business Leadership Group

Type: Full-time

What This Role Is About

You drive how brands show up, grow, and win — across clients, platforms, and business opportunities.

As an Account Director, you sit at the intersection of Business Leadership, Client Experience, Creative, Strategy, Connected Experience, and Operations.

You know the client’s business intimately, turn insights into actionable direction, and steer teams toward work that is effective, on‑time, and commercially sound.

You help shape the business, elevate the work, and build the relationships that keep the agency indispensable.

What You’ll Do
  • Identify and help unlock new opportunities by staying close to client business realities and market movements.
  • Lead pitch development: game-planning, crafting tailored agency creds, and driving solution development.
  • Partner with Business Leaders to evaluate prospects, perform research, and guide strategic approaches.
  • Map scopes and pricing accurately with discipline heads; ensure assumptions are tight and aligned.
  • Secure client approvals on proposals, agreements, and cost estimates before work begins.
  • Manage forecasting for ongoing and new business revenue.
  • Oversee accounts receivable for timely collection.
  • Become the expert on assigned clients and brands — their culture, business context, challenges, and audience.
  • Interrogate briefs to define the real problem and lead the early strategic “read” for teams.
  • Build strong relationships with senior and mid-level clients, turning trust into long‑term partnerships and growth.
  • Lead teams in selling work that is meaningful, relevant, and business-impacting.
  • Guide the creation of solutions rooted in insight, strategy, and client context.
  • Ensure work is aligned with consumer behavior, platform nuance, and client objectives.
  • Champion high‑quality outputs and ensure timelines are consistently met.
  • Surface opportunities for award‑worthy, culturally resonant, or effectiveness‑driven work.
  • Identify high‑potential team members and work with leadership to build and execute development plans.
Success signals
  • The work delivered feels native, meaningful, and rooted in the client's business strategy.
  • Relationships strengthen, expanding trust and openness for upsell or deeper collaboration.
  • Projects run smoothly: clear scopes, tight coordination, on‑time delivery.
  • Insights and learnings influence future work, not just reports.
  • Revenue projections are accurate, and collections are timely.
What You'll Bring
  • 3–5 years in account management or related roles in advertising, marketing, communications, or digital.
  • Deep client management and interpersonal leadership skills.
  • Strong strategic sense: able to decode client problems and translate them into actionable direction.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage multiple projects with discipline.
  • Curious about trends, platforms, culture, and consumer shifts.
  • A balance of detail‑orientation and big‑picture thinking.
Why join

You won’t just manage projects—you’ll help steer strategy, client relationships, and creative direction. This role gives you real influence over how brands grow and how ideas perform in the real world.
