Job summary

AGILEWORKS SOLUTIONS OPC in the Philippines seeks a VRF/VRV Air-Conditioning Technician to install, maintain and repair VRF/VRV systems at client sites.

You will read mechanical and electrical drawings, perform system tests, document service reports, and coordinate with project teams to keep installations on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in installation, maintenance and repair of VRF/VRV systems.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and use service instruments.
• Familiar with VRF/VRV controls and fault diagnosis.
• NCII/NCIII certification is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on client sites and perform scheduled maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install indoor and outdoor units, refrigerant piping, condensate drains, and wiring per plans.
• Assist with inspections, testing, start-up, commissioning and performance checks.
• Perform scheduled inspection, cleaning, and servicing of units.
• Check filters, coils, drains, fans, electrical connections and operation.
• Record readings and report corrective work needed.
• Investigate client complaints, fault codes, leaks, noises, drainage issues.
• Identify causes, recommend repairs, and perform approved work.
• Replace or repair faulty components and verify operation.
• Prepare clear service reports and document results.
• Coordinate with supervisors and client representatives to complete work on schedule.

About the role

The VRF/VRV Air-Conditioning Technician is responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of VRF/VRV air-conditioning systems. The technician helps keep systems operating reliably, completes accurate service reports, and coordinates with the team and clients during site work.

Key responsibilities

• Install indoor and outdoor units, refrigerant piping, condensate drains, and control and communication wiring in accordance with approved plans and manufacturer requirements.

• Assist with inspections, system testing, start-up, commissioning, and performance checks.

• Perform scheduled inspection, cleaning, and servicing of indoor and outdoor units.

• Check filters, coils, drain systems, fans, electrical connections, and operating performance.

• Record equipment condition and operating readings, and report components that need corrective work.

• Investigate client complaints, fault codes, leaks, abnormal noise, drainage issues, and poor cooling performance.

• Identify likely causes, recommend repairs, and carry out approved corrective work within the technician's training and authorization.

• Replace or repair faulty components as assigned, then verify and document system operation after the work.

• Prepare clear service reports covering findings, work completed, parts used, test results, and recommended follow-up.

• Coordinate with supervisors, other trades, and client representatives to complete work on schedule.

About you

• Experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of VRF/VRV air-conditioning systems.

• Ability to read basic mechanical and electrical drawings and use appropriate service instruments.

• Familiarity with VRF/VRV controls, fault diagnosis, and service documentation.

• Relevant technical training or certification (NCII/NCIII) is an advantage.

• Willingness to work at client and project sites, including scheduled maintenance visits.

• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

• Preferred: Experience servicing Daikin or other major VRF/VRV brands and using manufacturer diagnostic tools.
