Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as AC Technician or similar role with 3+ years in the industry.
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and HVAC equipment.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and hand tools required for AC maintenance and repair.
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and environmental regulations related to refrigerant handling.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair AC units and refrigeration systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative servicing on AC systems.
• Install new air conditioning units and components per specs and safety standards.
• Test refrigerant levels, electrical connections, and system components with diagnostics.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AC Technician to join the JGQ Group of Companies team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position where you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing air conditioning systems for our valued clients. As an AC Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that cooling systems operate efficiently and reliably, providing essential technical expertise that directly impacts customer satisfaction and business operations. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work with modern HVAC equipment and contribute to the comfort and productivity of residential and commercial spaces throughout the Metro Manila region.

What you'll be doing

• Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing air conditioning units and related refrigeration systems

• Performing routine maintenance and preventative servicing on AC systems to ensure optimal performance

• Installing new air conditioning units and components following technical specifications and safety standards

• Testing refrigerant levels, electrical connections, and system components using specialised diagnostic equipment

• Identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical faults in a timely and professional manner

• Maintaining detailed records of service calls, repairs completed, and parts used

• Responding promptly to emergency service requests and urgent repair calls

• Communicating clearly with clients about repair needs, costs, and maintenance recommendations

• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and industry standards in the air conditioning and refrigeration field

• Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an AC Technician or in a similar air conditioning and refrigeration role, ideally 3+ years in the industry

• Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and HVAC equipment

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and hand tools required for AC maintenance and repair

• Sound understanding of relevant safety protocols and environmental regulations related to refrigerant handling

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues accurately

• Physical capability to lift heavy equipment, work in various weather conditions, and perform tasks at heights when necessary

• Strong communication and customer service skills with a professional and courteous demeanor

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client locations throughout Metro Manila

• Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in air conditioning and refrigeration (preferred)

• Flexibility to work beyond standard hours when emergency service calls are required
