Astor Shipmanagement seeks an Able Seaman (AB) to support deck operations aboard our vessel in Manila. The role focuses on navigation, cargo handling, ballast work, mooring, and general maintenance to ensure safe and compliant operations.

You will work as part of the bridge team, sustaining high standards of ropework, reporting, and vessel upkeep. We value reliability, teamwork, and strict adherence to SOLAS and MARPOL regulations.

Qualifications

• Essential knowledge includes SOLAS, MARPOL, and flag state regulations.
• Experience as bridge team member with lookout and helm duties.
• Ability to operate deck equipment and perform routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in navigation, cargo and ballast handling; mooring and anchoring operations.
• Carry out deck maintenance and housekeeping to keep equipment ready.
• Comply with safety, environmental, and security procedures and regulations.
