Job summary

Conautic Group is seeking an Able Seaman (AB deckhand) to helm the vessel, monitor for obstructions, and perform ongoing maintenance of the ship’s exterior and interior. You will assist in anchoring, mooring, and handling loading/unloading of equipment and supplies.

The AB deckhands are responsible for launching and operating lifeboats and various other safety equipment, reporting hazards to the captain promptly, and supporting day-to-day deck operations as needed.

Qualifications

• AB deckhand duties at helm and reporting obstructions to captain or first mate.
• Maintenance of ship exterior and interior.
• Anchoring and mooring the vessel; loading/unloading equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities
