Job summary

MeBe Family is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician to support children with autism in home or our Learning Center. You’ll implement 1:1 behavioral plans under BCBAs, record progress, and help families build skills across communication, social, and daily living tasks.

You bring reliability, empathy, and a collaborative spirit. Training includes two weeks paid to prepare for the RBT exam, with supervision and growth opportunities within a supportive MeBe team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• RBT/ CBT certification preferred and must obtain within 60 days with MeBe support.
• Must pass a background check and be able to work with computers.
• Ability to frequently bend, lift up to 50 lbs, sit, stand, and move as required.

Responsibilities

• Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in 1:1 settings.
• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to improve communication and social skills.
• Record progress and input data into Central Reach after each session.
• Help with lunch, bathroom breaks, and diaper changes as needed.
• Support families and maintain professional boundaries.
