Remote Staff, Inc. seeks a part-time 3D Visualisation & Rendering Specialist to deliver high-quality imagery for NZ modular building systems and large-scale event infrastructure.
The role is project-based and remote, with a 20-hour work week and NZ time-aligned schedule (Mon–Fri, 10:00–2:00). You will produce client-facing visuals from SketchUp models, apply materials and lighting, and work with the Design team to present compelling renderings that support sales and project delivery.

Reminders:
While rendering and visualisation will be the primary purpose of the role, experience in some of the following would be advantageous:
We are looking for someone who is strong visually but also commercially practical. You understand that the objective isn't always to create the most technically perfect render possible. You can judge the appropriate level of detail for the purpose, produce strong imagery efficiently and know when the image is good enough to communicate the design clearly. You will ideally have: Demonstrated professional experience in 3D rendering and visualisation. Strong SketchUp capability. Experience with Enscape or comparable real-time rendering software. A strong understanding of lighting, materials, composition, scale and visual presentation. Experience using AI tools to improve or accelerate visualisation workflows would be highly advantageous. The ability to work from an existing model and design direction rather than needing to originate every design. Good attention to detail and the ability to follow established design standards. Strong file management and organisational skills. Good written and spoken English. The ability to work independently within agreed priorities and deadlines. A willingness to learn new tools and adapt as rendering technology develops.
Success in this role means:
This is not a general graphic design or entry-level 3D role. Applicants must have demonstrated hands-on experience producing professional 3D renders and should provide a portfolio showing work they have personally produced. Experience with SketchUp is important. Enscape experience is preferred, however we are open to candidates with strong experience in comparable rendering platforms who can demonstrate that they can adapt quickly to our workflow. Experience using AI-assisted rendering or visualisation tools is highly desirable, but we are deliberately not prescribing one AI platform as our rendering workflow will continue to evolve.
