Job summary

vamasters, Inc. is seeking a Junior 3D Visualization Artist to help build our library of 3D venue models and recreate real event spaces as accurate, high-quality interiors. You’ll support our designers with visualizations for client projects and pitches, contributing to the team’s creative output.

The ideal candidate has a design background, a strong sense of scale and texture, and hands-on experience with SketchUp or similar tools. A robust portfolio and neat file management are essential.

Qualifications

• Background in interior design, exhibition design, spatial design, architecture, or event design.
• Strong understanding of scale, proportion, materials, textures, and lighting.
• A portfolio showing well-modeled interiors or environments, accurate spatial representation, and realistic textures.
• Hands-on experience with a professional 3D modeling and rendering tool (SketchUp, Blender, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, Twinmotion, D5 Render, or similar).
• Ability to interpret photographs, floor plans, and design references.
• A strong creative eye and excellent attention to detail.
• An organized approach to modeling and file management.
• Organized, conscientious, and comfortable working solo.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and keep up a library of 3D venue models for the whole creative team to use.
• Recreate real event spaces as accurate, realistic models in SketchUp and Enscape, working from floor plans, reference photos, and 3D venue scans (Polycam).
• Apply realistic materials and textures and check that every model is scaled correctly.
• Light each venue carefully so it’s presented to a high standard.
• Create and maintain a well-organized filing system that makes venues easy to find and reuse.
• Turn photographs, floor plans, and design references into accurate 3D spaces.
• Produce 3D visualizations for smaller client projects and pitches with our event designers.
• Collaborate with the design team and keep developing your design skills.

You’ll recreate real event spaces as accurate, realistic 3D models and support our event designers with visualizations for smaller client projects and pitches.
