Job summary

Australia Farm Innovations, Inc. is seeking a CAD Designer to create precise 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks for poultry equipment and steel structures. You will prepare BOMs, documentation, and ensure designs meet production requirements.

The role requires 1–2 years CAD experience, strong SolidWorks skills, and relocation to Subic Bay Freeport Zone. On-site work 8:30–17:30, Monday–Saturday schedule, with close coordination with production teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, Industrial Design, or a related field
• Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in CAD drafting and design
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks (parts, assemblies, drawings, and configurations)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and fabrication methods
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting to work

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models, including parts and assemblies, using SolidWorks
• Prepare complete technical documentation, including dimensions, tolerances, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical notes in accordance with industry standards
• Revise and update designs based on engineering changes, client feedback, or production requirements
• Maintain organized drawing files, version control, and documentation in accordance with company standards
• Generate design outputs to support prototyping, fabrication, and production processes
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards
• Support design improvement initiatives and continuous product development efforts

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are actively looking for an additional member for the Engineering Department with extensive experience in SolidWorks who is willing to undergo Trade-Test as part of the recruitment process. The position does not offer a Work from Home or Hybrid Set-up as everyday face-to-face coordination with the Production Team Lead and Operation Manager is needed.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The CAD Designer is responsible for creating accurate and detailed 2D and 3D models, assembly drawings, and technical documentation using SolidWorks or 3D Software.
