We are actively looking for an additional member for the Engineering Department with extensive experience in SolidWorks who is willing to undergo Trade-Test as part of the recruitment process. The position does not offer a Work from Home or Hybrid Set-up as everyday face-to-face coordination with the Production Team Lead and Operation Manager is needed.

The CAD Designer is responsible for creating accurate and detailed 2D and 3D models, assembly drawings, and technical documentation using SolidWorks or 3D Software. This role supports engineering, product development, and manufacturing teams by delivering precise design outputs that meet functional, quality, and production requirements.
Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models, including parts and assemblies, using SolidWorks
Prepare complete technical documentation, including dimensions, tolerances, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical notes in accordance with industry standards
Revise and update designs based on engineering changes, client feedback, or production requirements
Maintain organized drawing files, version control, and documentation in accordance with company standards
Generate design outputs to support prototyping, fabrication, and production processes
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective
Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards
Support design improvement initiatives and continuous product development efforts
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, Industrial Design, or a related field
Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in CAD drafting and design
Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks (parts, assemblies, drawings, and configurations)
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and fabrication methods
High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting to work
Experience using Product Data Management (PDM) systems for drawing and version control
Knowledge of rendering, simulation, or stress analysis tools within SolidWorks or similar platforms
Background or industry experience in poultry equipment, agricultural machinery, or steel structures
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Understanding of engineering standards, GD&T, and best drafting practices
Strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement
