Job summary

Staff Domain Inc invites a Mechanical/Structural Designer to join their Ortigas office. You will develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks, design structural components and assemblies, and perform analyses to ensure robust, production-ready designs.

Experience in FEA, materials selection, and manufacturing processes, plus strong communication skills, will help you collaborate across engineering teams and maintain precise documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical and structural design or related engineering experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks including weldments, sheet metal, and structural modelling tools.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles, materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software and simulation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail in technical drafting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
• Design structural components and mechanical assemblies per project requirements and standards.
• Perform structural calculations, stress analysis, and FEA to ensure design integrity.
• Select materials, hardware, and fabrication processes for structural integrity and cost-efficiency.

The position involves collaborating with engineering teams to produce production- ready drawings, perform structural analysis, and ensure designs comply with industry standards. This role is critical for driving precision engineering and optimising structural components from initial concept through final design delivery.

What You’ll Do
