Job summary

vamasters, Inc. seeks a Senior 3D Visualization Artist to lead high-end event visuals with an eye for atmosphere, lighting, and composition. You will collaborate with design teams to elevate briefs into compelling visuals and expand capabilities to animated walkthroughs, cinematic fly-throughs, and immersive VR.

You will work closely with creative and event design teams, take ownership of projects, and help grow the department's storytelling through visuals and new techniques.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio showing design, composition, lighting, and mood for event visuals.
• Proven track record delivering high-quality 3D visualizations of interiors, events, or immersive environments.
• Ability to contribute ideas beyond the brief through creative direction.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Event concepts are won or lost on the strength of their visuals, which is why we are seeking a Senior 3D Visualization Artist with an exceptional eye for atmosphere, lighting, and composition to lead our high-end creative event visualizations. You will work closely with our creative and event design teams on ambitious projects, taking a brief and elevating it into compelling visuals that help sell an event concept. The role will also help us grow our capabilities in animated walkthroughs, cinematic fly-throughs, and immersive VR.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop sophisticated event environments featuring staging, scenic design, theatrical lighting, LED screens, multimedia, and other production elements
• Use our existing 3D venue models as the starting point for larger, more ambitious projects
• Take creative briefs and elevate them with your own design judgment and ideas
• Produce high-quality still renders for major client pitches
• Create animated walkthroughs, cinematic fly-throughs, and immersive VR experiences
• Build strong composition, atmosphere, and visual storytelling into every presentation
• Work closely with the creative and event design teams
• Manage larger creative projects independently from concept to delivery
• Help develop new ways to present and sell event concepts

Mandatory Skills:

• Exceptional portfolio demonstrating design ability, composition, lighting, and atmosphere
• Proven experience producing high-quality 3D visualizations of interiors, events, exhibitions, or immersive environments
• Strong creative instincts and the ability to contribute ideas, beyond executing a brief
• Professional experience with 3D modeling and rendering software (SketchUp, 3ds Max, Blender, Cinema 4D, V-Ray, Twinmotion, D5 Render, or similar)
• Understanding of lighting and staging for events or interiors
• Ability to manage larger creative projects and collaborate with a design team
• Methodical, trustworthy, and effective without day-to-day direction
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of staging, theatrical lighting, LED screens, and multimedia
• Experience in live events, event production, entertainment, or experiential design
• Background in stage design, entertainment design, or event visualization
• Experience with animation, real-time rendering, walkthroughs, or VRUnreal Engine experience
• Experience with SketchUp, Enscape, Vectorworks, or CAST WYSIWYG/Vivien
• Comfortable sequencing several projects at once and delivering each on schedule
