Job summary

Winch Yacht Recruitment is seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer for an 80m+ motor yacht (private/charter) heading to shipyard in Jan 2027. Start date: 7th November; Rotation: 2:2; location Europe.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of yachting experience on large vessels and is comfortable across the engineering department. MTU experience is beneficial; loyalty to a long-term position is valued by the owner.

• Minimum 5 years yachting experience onboard large yachts.
• Experience with 80m+ vessels is preferred.

Winch Yacht Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer with previous experience onboard similar sized yachts, to join this 80m+ MY around early November. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years yachting experience and be comfortable in all areas of the engineering department. Longevity must be shown to be considered for this position, so please do not apply without showing some solid to loyalty to at least one previous vessel of a similar size. We are looking for a real team player, and someone who looks for the answers rather the negatives. The vessel will be heading into the shipyard in January 2027 for a 20 year check up until June. This vessel is private as well as a charter yacht, so previous charter experience would also put you in a good place.
