Job summary

Columbia Shipmanagement in Manila, Philippines, seeks a skilled seafarer to join our engine room team aboard our vessel. You will be responsible for proper operation and maintenance of engine room and other machinery, ensuring compliance with safety and STCW standards.

The role requires 3+ years in the same vessel type (18000 MT) with 4-stroke engines over 2500KW, and experience in repairs/drydocking. Europe trading area experience is recommended; competitive salary and onboard internet are

COLUMBIA SHIPMANAGEMENT is looking for self-motivated and skilled seafarers to join our expanding fleet.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of Engine room and other machinery equipment.

Experience in repairs and dry docking is required.

Holder of valid STCW certifications required for the position.

Good communication and leadership skills.

Effective English communication.

Safety culture and mindset.

Experience with multicultural working environment.

VESSEL'S SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Minimum experience requirements: 3 years in Rank (Matrix Compliant) on the same vessel type and Size (18000 MT) DWT

Engines Experience with 4 stroke engines over 2500KW output.

Experience in trading area EUROPE is recommended.
