Job summary

Maersk Global Service Centres Philippines Limited is seeking a Network Rapid Response Engineer to support L1 operations for the Maersk estate 24/7/365. You will install, monitor, test, maintain and troubleshoot integrated technologies to keep services running and address incidents.

You will proactively monitor alerts across routers, switches, firewalls, APs, load balancers and proxies, analyze incidents, and work with engineering to ensure optimal performance and user experience across

Responsibilities

• Monitor alerts for Routers, Switches, Firewalls, APs, Load Balancers and Proxies.
• Analyze alerts and take actions such as troubleshooting, escalation or remediation.
• Monitor the performance and health of Maersk network estate.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure optimal application performance and user experience.
• Operate WAN, LAN, WLAN and Perimeter systems.
• Diagnose WAN/LAN/Perimeter issues and coordinate next steps.
• Assess business impact before changes.
• Respond to network incidents per documented procedures.
• Develop and implement infrastructure automation tools.
• Perform daily system checks to ensure critical services are operational.
• Apply ITIL incident management methodologies.
• Adhere to KPI and SOPs.
