Job summary

FPT Software Philippines Corporation is seeking an L1 IT Support Engineer to support a critical enterprise IT environment. You will monitor and perform initial troubleshooting for Windows Server, Active Directory, backups, and data center operations in a 24/7 offshore setting.

Responsibilities include incident handling, coordinating with on-site and remote teams, updating tickets, and providing English-language documentation and support across multiple time zones.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with troubleshooting in a remote operations environment.
• 1 year+ experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Active Directory.
• Basic Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Backup tooling experience with Veeam or equivalent.
• Data Center fundamentals: understanding of server, storage and virtualization concepts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 24/7 support model (Shift Rotation).
• Support operations aligned with customer business hours in CET time zone.
• Provide remote support for Windows Server, Active Directory, and end-user systems.
• Monitor infrastructure (Server and Storage).
• Perform initial troubleshooting and execute operational tasks based on SOP.
• Monitor and troubleshoot backup jobs; perform restore tasks when required.
• Handle incidents and elevate incidents to L2 / L3 / vendors when needed.
• Join incident calls when required (international environment).
• Update tickets, handover notes, and operational documents clearly (in English).
• Work closely with internal teams, onsite teams, and vendors to support issue resolution.
