Amped HQ is seeking an experienced E-commerce Operations & Technical Delivery Specialist to oversee large-scale web development projects. You will bridge account leads, clients, and development teams to ensure smooth sprint execution and high-quality delivery.

You will not need to be a full-stack developer, but you’ll translate business needs into concrete technical tasks, engage with developers on APIs and integrations, and assess feasibility under pressure, while maintaining strong

About the Opportunity

We're seeking an E-Commerce Operations & Technical Delivery Specialist to oversee the operational and technical execution of web development projects for large-scale e-commerce clients. In this role, you will serve as a key technical bridge between account leads, clients, and development teams to drive smooth sprint execution, clear task translation, and high-quality project delivery.

You do not need to be a full-stack developer, but you must combine strong project delivery experience with deep technical literacy and hands‑on familiarity with eCommerce websites such as Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce or custom‑builds. You should be confident translating vague business requirements into clear technical tasks, navigating platform settings, engaging directly with developers on system architectures and integrations, and evaluating technical feasibility under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder & Delivery Collaboration:

• Work closely with account managers and leads, and internal teams to align on project goals, timelines, and task prioritization.
• Serve as a seamless liaison between internal development/QA teams and client-facing stakeholders.

Agile & PM Tool Management:

• Drive sprint execution, monitor burndown rates, and adjust team workloads to consistently hit sprint goals.
• Set up, organize, and maintain task workflows within Wrike, Teamwork, Jira, or similar project management platforms.

Technical Brief Translation & Solutioning:

• Take vague client briefs or business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical tasks for development teams.
• Add precise context, examples, and acceptance criteria to ensure complete developer understanding.
• Confidently engage with developers on APIs, integrations, data flows, and system limitations.
• Assess technical feasibility, risks, and trade-offs while reviewing developer time estimates for stakeholder sign-off.

QA Prep & Deployment Tracking:

• Conduct post-QA reviews, prepare tasks for client deployment, and track progress against established Service-Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and proactively flag potential delays or technical blockers.

Clear & Professional Communication:

• Communicate clearly, professionally, and persuasively in written and verbal English across Slack, ticketing platforms, and project documentation.

Requirements

• 6+ years of senior-level experience managing e-commerce website development projects for large-scale clients.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify, Shopify Plus (store setups, app configurations, and backend navigation) alongside familiarity with enterprise ecosystems like Adobe Commerce/Magento or BigCommerce.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and engage with technical concepts, architectures, data flows, APIs, and system limits without needing to write code.
• Solid understanding of agile principles, sprint planning, task allocation, and burndown chart management.
• Highly proficient in Wrike, Teamwork, Jira, Asana, Trello, or Notion.
• Exceptional written and verbal English skills with strong critical thinking ability and comfort navigating ambiguity.
• Highly detail-oriented with documentation habits and a commitment to meeting deadlines and SLAs.

Nice to Have:

• Prior hands‑on experience in software development (writing code, working within modern frameworks, contributing to codebases, or participating in technical delivery).
