Job summary

David Kennedy Recruitment is partnering with a fast-growing AI technology company to onboard a Trust & Safety Product Manager to own safety and compliance for a large consumer product. This is a remote, high-impact role with adult content handling, reporting to the CTO and Safety Lead.

You will define moderation features, age checks, and risk trade-offs while coordinating with engineers, Legal & Safety Leads, and Product Lead to drive a Europe-wide roadmap.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience with proven ownership.
• Strong safety and regulatory judgement with concrete examples of trade-offs.
• Solid technical understanding of safety systems, including thresholds, false positives and human review.
• Based in Europe.
• Full comfort working with explicit adult content, and willing to review disturbing or illegal reports.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver safety and compliance features on the product, working directly with engineers.
• Drive the product roadmap for AI moderation, age checks and red teaming.
• Make and own safety and regulatory trade-offs, balancing user safety, compliance and product impact.
• Define detection thresholds, manage false positives and shape human review processes.
• Work closely with the CTO, Legal & Safety Lead and Product Lead.
• Review reports that may include disturbing or illegal content.

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a fast-growing AI technology company with over 50 million users, where people chat, talk and create images and video with AI characters, that is seeking to onboard a Trust & Safety Product Manager to join their team.

This is a new, high-impact role to own safety and compliance on a very large consumer product. It is a product role rather than a policy or operations one. The company's products include adult content, so candidates must be fully comfortable working with this material.

Remuneration: Competitive salary dependant on experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own and deliver safety and compliance features on the product, working directly with engineers

• Drive the product roadmap for AI moderation, age checks and red teaming
