David Kennedy Recruitment partners with a fast-growing AI technology company serving 50M+ users. They seek a Trust & Safety Product Manager to own safety and compliance on a high-impact consumer product, including AI moderation, age checks and review workflows.

The role is fully remote from Europe, on a B2B contract basis, and involves collaborating with CTO, Legal & Safety Lead and Product Lead to balance user safety with product goals. Must be comfortable working with explicit adult content.

Formación

• 5+ years of product management experience with proven ownership.
• Strong safety and regulatory judgement with concrete trade-off examples.
• Technical understanding of safety systems, thresholds and human review.
• Based in Europe.
• Comfort working with explicit adult content and reviewing disturbing reports.

• Own and deliver safety and compliance features with engineers.
• Drive the product roadmap for AI moderation, age checks and red teaming.
• Make safety/regulatory trade-offs balancing user safety, compliance and product impact.
• Define detection thresholds, manage false positives and shape review processes.
• Collaborate with CTO, Legal & Safety Lead and Product Lead.
• Review reports that may include disturbing or illegal content.

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a fast-growing AI technology company with over 50 million users, where people chat, talk and create images and video with AI characters, that is seeking to onboard a Trust & Safety Product Manager to join their team.

This is a new, high-impact role to own safety and compliance on a very large consumer product. It is a product role rather than a policy or operations one. The company's products include adult content, so candidates must be fully comfortable working with this material.

Location: Remote

Employment type: B2B contract

Remuneration: Competitive salary dependant on experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own and deliver safety and compliance features on the product, working directly with engineers

• Drive the product roadmap for AI moderation, age checks and red teaming

• Make and own safety and regulatory trade-offs, balancing user safety, compliance and product impact

• Define detection thresholds, manage false positives and shape human review processes

• Work closely with the CTO, Legal & Safety Lead and Product Lead

• Review reports that may include disturbing or illegal content

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of product management experience, with proven product ownership: owned decisions, delivery and results

• Strong safety and regulatory judgement, able to give concrete examples of trade-offs made and their impact

• Solid technical understanding of safety systems, including thresholds, false positives and human review

• Based in Europe

• Full comfort working with explicit adult content, and willing to review disturbing or illegal reports
