Job summary

Inca Expert in Lima, Peru, invites applications for a Trainee Travel Advisor with strong communication and customer-focus to help create unforgettable journeys.

Qualifications

• Degree in Tourism, Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, History, Literature, Anthropology, or similar
• Advanced English required or native level
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts
• On-site work in Lima, Peru

Responsibilities

• Verify if client requests have all necessary information (destination, dates, travelers, service type)
• Contact potential traveler for more information
• Process information in company system
• Call providers for availability or quotes
• Answer incoming calls
• Be on call to assist clients in emergencies
• Perform travel briefings for clients
• Assist on additional tasks as required

At Inca Expert, we are looking for a Trainee Travel Advisor with good communication skills, customer focus, and attention to detail. We want to add someone with authentic enthusiasm for transforming trips into unforgettable memories.

What will you do in this role?

• Verify if the requests clients send have all the necessary information such as: destination, travel dates, number of travelers, type of service, etc.
• Contact the potential traveller for more information about their requested trip.
• Process the information received from the potential traveler in the company system.
• Call providers to ask for availability or special quotes.
• Answer incoming calls
• Be on call to help your clients in case of an emergency.
• Perform travel briefings to our clients.
• Assist on additional tasks that may be required.

What do we look for in you?

• Degree in Tourism, Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, History, Literature, Anthropology,or similar careers.
• Advanced or native level of English.
• Availability to work some weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts.
• Travel experience in Peru, South America, and/or Antarctica.
• Must be available to work on‑site in Lima, Peru.
