Lycopodium Americas is seeking a Site Contracts Manager to lead site-based contract management across construction, commissioning and close-out phases on mining and heavy industrial projects. The role demands extensive field experience and accountability for commercial performance and risk management.

The successful candidate will mentor the site team, manage claims and change orders, and ensure contractor compliance while operating within a dynamic project environment.

Formación

• Minimum 15 years' experience in contracts, commercial and contract administration within mining, EPC, EPCM, construction or heavy industrial projects.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior site-based Contracts Manager, Commercial Manager or Senior Contract Administrator role.
• Proven experience managing claims, variations, change orders, EOT claims, disputes, amendments and settlements.

Lycopodium Americas is currently recruiting for a Site Contracts Manager to join our growing Projects Services Group.

The Site Contracts Manager is responsible for leadership, administration and execution of all site-based contract management and commercial activities during project execution, construction, commissioning and project close-out phases. The position requires substantial hands-on site experience on major mining, industrial, EPC and EPCM projects and serves as the focal point for all contractor commercial and contractual matters at site. The role is accountable for contract administration, contractual risk management, claims management, dispute resolution, variations, change management, and contractor performance management.

The tasks you'll perform

• Lead all site-based contract administration activities during construction, commissioning, and close-out phases.
• Act as the primary commercial and contractual representative between the project site team and contractors.
• Lead assessment, preparation, evaluation, and resolution of contractor claims.
• Manage project change management procedures and variation negotiations.
• Identify emerging disputes and implement dispute avoidance strategies.
• Monitor contractor for commercial performance and contractual compliance.
• Maintain commercial risk registers and mitigation plans.
• Mentor Contract Administrators and commercial personnel.

The expertise you'll bring

• Minimum 15 years' experience in contracts, commercial and contract administration roles within mining, EPC, EPCM, construction or heavy industrial projects.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior site-based Contracts Manager, Commercial Manager or Senior Contract Administrator role.
• Proven experience managing claims, variations, change orders, EOT claims, disputes, amendments and settlements.
• Extensive field-based construction experience through execution, commissioning and close-out.
