Converse, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join the team in Indonesia, stationed at the Converse factory. You will collaborate with Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering teams, and Factory Partners to drive manufacturing and product excellence.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, use of Tableau/Power BI, and cross-functional collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including global engineering teams, to deliver local solutions.

Formación

• Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience in Engineering, Product Development, Automation, Lean, Manufacturing, or Quality Management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Data-driven; able to leverage data for fact-based decision making.
• Experience in Manufacturing Operations, systems, processes, technologies to produce goods to a measurable standard.
• Forward and conceptual thinking; proactively seeks diverse inputs and potential solutions.
• Fluent verbal and written English.
• Proficient in MS Office and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join our team in Indonesia, with the role based at Converse factory. As a member of the Product Supply Chain (PSC), Footwear (FW) – Manufacturing & Engineering team, you will be part of a global organization dedicated to delivering excellence to our consumers every day. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineering subject matter experts with experience across a multitude of disciplines. Key partners are the Manufacturing Engineering teams, Factory Partners and other functions such as Consumer Creation, Sourcing, Responsible Supply Chain, and Cost Engineering. You will work at the country level across all partners located within the country and will strive to ensure connectivity with the local Partner Management Office (PMO) leadership team.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This role will play a key part in advancing our global FW Manufacturing & Engineering strategic initiatives by employing a standardized and consistent approach and cultivating the development of future-ready leaders.

• Minimum of 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in one or more of the areas of Engineering, Product Development, Automation, Lean, Manufacturing, or Quality Management.
• Bachelor's degree with a focus in Engineering, Business Management, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Data Driven, understands the use of data and application of statistical methods and tools, able to leverage data for fact-based decision making.
• Experience in applying knowledge of Manufacturing Operations, including systems, processes, technologies, and materials required to consistently produce finished goods to a measurable standard, to identify opportunities and drive progress against goals.
• Forward and Conceptual Thinking, proactively seeks diversity of inputs and potential solutions; consistently challenges the status quo and thinks beyond traditional solutions and approaches.
• Demonstrated experience in working with multiple functions and stakeholders.
• Fluent verbal and written English language ability.
• Proficient in standard MS Office programs and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
