Job summary

SO/ Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a vigilant Security Manager to lead the hotel’s security team, oversee CCTV and access control, and ensure adherence to procedures across all shifts.

You will respond to incidents, manage emergencies, coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and front desk, and drive on‑the‑job training to protect guests and staff in a luxury hospitality environment. Strong leadership and crisis management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; further qualifications in security management are a plus.
• Minimum 3-5 years in security with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in hospitality or luxury environments preferred.
• Strong leadership and crisis management capabilities.
• Knowledge of CCTV, access control and alarm systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; report writing skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow up on incidents.
• Good physical stamina to patrol large areas.

Job Description

• Team Leadership: Supervise and lead the security team, ensuring all security personnel are well-trained, follow procedures, and perform their duties to the highest standard.
• Security Operations: Oversee the daily operations of security systems, including surveillance, access control, and alarm systems, to ensure the safety and security of the property.
• Incident Management: Respond quickly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances. Investigate and document incidents, preparing reports and taking appropriate follow-up action.
• Monitoring & Surveillance: Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and conduct regular patrols to detect any potential security risks or breaches.
• Guest and Staff Safety: Maintain a visible presence on the property to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff. Provide assistance and guidance to both employees and guests when needed.
• Emergency Response: Lead emergency response procedures during evacuations, first-aid events, and fire drills, ensuring that all staff and guests adhere to safety protocols.
• Training & Development: Provide on-the-job training and guidance to security personnel to ensure they remain updated on procedures, emergency protocols, and best security practices.
• Incident Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of all security-related incidents, suspicious activities, and accidents, and prepare regular reports for management.
• Collaboration with Departments: Work closely with other departments such as housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk to ensure the security of all areas, particularly high-risk zones and special events.
• Security Systems Maintenance: Ensure that all security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) are functioning properly, and report any malfunctions to the appropriate department for repair.
• Compliance with Security Procedures: Ensure the property complies with all relevant local security laws and regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; further qualifications in security management or related fields are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in security, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably within the hospitality or luxury industry.
