Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Quality and Compliance Manager (In-field) to oversee quality assurance across Peruvian farms and ensure OZblu standards are met. You will lead the In-field QA Officers, ensure data is captured and analyzed to support timely decisions, and drive corrective actions where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering or similar.
• Experience supervising teams.
• Minimum of 5 years in agribusiness; Blueberries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor the In-field Quality Assurance Officers to ensure objectives and standards are met.
• Collate, analyse and interpret QC data to drive timely decision making.
• Manage the Compliance and Quality team to address regulatory changes and best practice.

Quality and Compliance Manager (In-field)

In this role you will have to oversee and ensure the effective implementation of quality assurance processes across all the farms Peru, in accordance with the OZblu standard. The role is also responsible for ensuring that quality data is accurately captured, managed, and analysed to support informed decision-making and enable the allocation of the right product to the right customer.

This position is open for candidates based in Lima, Chiclayo or Trujillo.

Key Performance Outputs

Managing the In-field QAO

• Manage and monitor the performance of the In-field Quality Assurance Officers to ensure objectives and standards are met.
• Ensure the In-field QAO team are capturing data and providing sufficient feedback on quality and compliance to make informed recommendations and decisions.
• Adress the n on-conformances or concerns raised by the In-field QAO’s during their routine farm inspections

Quality Control

• Ensure packed product meets the required product standards, prior to product leaving the farm/packhouse.
• Collate, Analyse and interpret QC data to drive accurate and timely decision making

Quality Management Systems

• Ensure that projects adhere to regulatory requirements, quality standards, and sustainability practices.
• Support growers in Peru to comply to OZblu standards in terms of following the Pre- and Post-harvest standards.
• ManagetheCompliance and Qualityteam to ensureregulatory or protocolchanges areimplementedand best practise ismaintained.

Requirements

• Bachelor degreee inin Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering or similar.
