Applaudo is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design scalable automation for AI-native applications in Lima. You will build and maintain API and UI automation suites and validate AI-powered workflows in close collaboration with engineering teams.

You thrive in Agile environments, bring 3+ years of QA Automation experience, hands-on Playwright expertise, and strong problem-solving skills. Upper-intermediate English and a related degree are preferred.

• Design and execute automated testing strategies for AI-native applications.

• Collaborate with developers to identify risks and improve software quality early in the development lifecycle.
• Continuously improve automation coverage, testing processes, and quality standards.
• Promote QA automation best practices across engineering teams.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the adoption of modern AI-assisted testing methodologies.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in QA Automation.
• Strong experience designing and executing automated testing strategies.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Experience testing AI-powered applications is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher.
