Applaudo in Peru is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer who thrives in turning complex enterprise workflows into intuitive experiences. You'll own the end-to-end design process from discovery to handoff, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to balance user needs with technical realities.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years designing enterprise software or complex digital products.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end UX/UI projects independently.
• Strong information architecture, interaction design, and design systems.
• Advanced Figma skills: prototyping, components, design libraries.
• Experience with user research, usability testing, and workflow analysis.
• Collaborates with PMs, engineers, and stakeholders across teams.
• Supports implementation through engineering handoff and QA.
• Balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints.
• Experience with AI-enabled enterprise apps is a plus; HTML/CSS knowledge helps.

You are a Senior UX/UI Designer who is passionate about creating intuitive, user-centered digital experiences for complex enterprise applications. You thrive leading the end-to-end design process, from discovery and research to high-fidelity designs and engineering handoff, while balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

You enjoy collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, and business stakeholders to transform complex workflows into simple, scalable, and engaging experiences. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working autonomously while driving design excellence across the entire product lifecycle.

Note: This is a 6-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of professional experience designing enterprise software, SaaS platforms, or complex digital products.
• Proven experience independently leading end-to-end UX/UI design projects.
• Strong expertise in information architecture, interaction design, user flows, wireframes, and systems thinking.
• Advanced proficiency with Figma, including prototyping, component libraries, and design systems.
• Experience planning, conducting, and synthesizing user research, usability testing, and workflow analysis.
• Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience supporting implementation through engineering handoff and design QA.
• Ability to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.
• Experience designing AI-enabled or workflow-heavy enterprise applications is a plus.
• Understanding of front-end implementation principles (HTML/CSS/component-based development) is a plus.
• Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (B2+/C1).

You Will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end UX/UI design process for complex enterprise applications.
• Conduct user research and translate insights into intuitive, user-centered design solutions.
• Design user flows, information architecture, wireframes, high-fidelity interfaces, and interactive prototypes.
• Define scalable interaction patterns and design systems for workflow-driven applications.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
• Deliver detailed engineering handoffs and support implementation through design QA.
• Iterate designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and stakeholder input.
• Contribute to the design of modern, scalable, AI-enabled enterprise experiences.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer for enterprise software or digital products.
• Strong experience leading end-to-end UX design and user research initiatives.
• Advanced proficiency with Figma, prototyping, and design systems.
• Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams throughout implementation.
• Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (B2+/C1).
