Lycopodium in Peru's San Isidro seeks a Project Accountant to join the Project Controls team, reporting to the Project Controls Manager. You will ensure costs are tracked and forecasted against budgets while collaborating with Procurement, Project Controls and Vendors.

The role requires 3+ years in project accounting within construction, ERP SAP experience, strong Excel skills, and fluent English and Spanish. This is a hands-on opportunity with exposure to large projects.

• 3+ years of experience in project accounting.
• Project accounting experience within construction industry.
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Fully bilingual English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and report committed, expended and forecast costs to complete against budgets.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Project Controls and Vendors/Suppliers.
• Input control budget at project commencement.
• Generate and process invoice approval forms and maintain registers.
• Prepare cash calls and payment runs.

Lycopodium is looking for a Project Accountant to join our growing Project Controls team in San Isidro, Peru.

Reporting to the Project Controls Manager the Project Accountant will ensure the maintenance and reporting of committed, expended and forecast costs to complete against project budgets. The Project Accountant will also work closely with Procurement, Project Controls and Vendors and Suppliers

The tasks you'll perform

• Input control budget at commencement of project
• Generate and process invoice approval forms and maintain relevant registers
• Preparation and transmittal of cash calls and payment runs

The expertise you'll bring

• Qualifications in an Accounting discipline, or equivalent work experience of 3+ years
• Project Accounting experience within Construction Industry
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP
• Advanced skills in Microsoft office suite, particularly excel.
• Fully bilingual English and Spanish
