Avanade is seeking a Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace Architect to lead architecture and transformation projects for clients. You will develop lifecycle processes, craft high-level Azure/M365 blueprints, and manage agile-enabled projects with strong customer collaboration and presales involvement.

The role emphasizes on-site customer interfaces, Teams/SharePoint/Exchange expertise, and a passion for innovative technology across a diverse, global team. Fluency in German and English is required.

Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace Architect (w/m/x)

Your tasks:

• Development of project goals with customers in order to develop life cycle processes on this basis.
• Development of innovative solutions and high-level architecture blueprints.
• Confident planning, budgeting, and project management according to the dynamic principle of agile working.
• Contribute your knowledge of customer requirements in collaboration with account, service and sales departments
• Active support in presales and sales processes, for example by helping to create offers.
• Responsibility for customer interfaces in the sense of sub-project management – mostly on-site.

Qualifications and experience:

• Experience with workplace transformation and deployment projects as well as client architectures
• Know-how about M365 in cloud and hybrid scenarios
• Ideally additional expertise in Teams, SharePoint or Exchange
• Knowledge of SCCM, desktop management tools, desktop encryption, security products and packaging tools
• Experience in creating and editing RFP/RFI/RFT documents
