Job summary

Andersen Lab is seeking a Solution/Enterprise Architect with German to design scalable, secure IT solutions for European clients, support pre-sales activities, and guide digital transformation.

You will work closely with delivery and engineering teams, producing architectural artefacts and ensuring alignment with client goals. Munich will serve as a European hub, and ongoing market learning is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as Solution or Enterprise Architect.
• Background in software development.
• Experience with European enterprise clients.
• Strong architectural documentation skills.
• Experience in FinTech, Banking, Insurance, Automotive, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Life Sciences, AI/ML, or Data Platforms.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English and German.

Responsibilities

• Supporting multiple European pre-sales initiatives in parallel.
• Participating in discovery phases, technical assessments, RFP/RFI responses, and solution estimation.
• Establishing early trust and credibility with clients.
• Translating business goals into clear solution approaches.
• Defining end-to-end solution architecture.
• Designing scalable, secure, cost-efficient solutions.
• Producing C4 diagrams, context models, integration diagrams, and cloud topologies.
• Ensuring architectural consistency and identifying risks.
• Working with business and technical stakeholders.
• Facilitating workshops and architectural deep dives.
• Acting as a trusted advisor.
• Collaborating with delivery and engineering teams.
• Participating in reviews and quality gates.
• Contributing to Munich as a European hub.
• Staying current with market and technology trends.

Must-haves:

• Experience as a Solution or Enterprise Architect for 5+ years.
• Background in software development.
• Experience with European enterprise clients.
• Strong architectural documentation skills.
• Experience in at least three of the following domains: FinTech, Banking, Insurance, Automotive, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Life Sciences, AI/ML, or Data Platforms.
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to drive architectural decisions and take responsibility for outcomes.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
• Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).
• Certifications (TOGAF, Kubernetes, SAFe Architect).
