BTD is seeking a Lead Hydraulic Infrastructure Project Engineer in Lima to lead the technical and commercial planning of major water projects, manage teams, and supervise EPC contracts.

You will coordinate with purchasing, ensure on-time delivery within budget, travel as needed, and communicate with clients and auditors. French and English negotiation level required.

Formación

• 10 years of demonstrated experience in civil works, with at least 5 years managing water projects.
• Experience in international projects; preferred in Sub-Saharan Africa and Latam.
• Field experience in project execution.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and construction.
• French and English at negotiation level.
• Willingness to travel or relocate.
• Strategic thinking.
• Analytical capacity.
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Negotiation and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Compile and analyze documentation for development of project strategy.
• Elaborate technical and economic planning of projects.
• Manage and supervise assigned projects.
• Negotiate EPC contracts with suppliers and subcontractors; ensure procedural compliance.
• Coordinate with purchasing to optimize resources.
• Ensure on-time execution within budget and safety/environmental criteria.
• Manage communications with client, administrator, audit.
• Handle payments and collections.
• Monitor progress and quality, implement prevention/resolution strategies.
• Prepare evaluation reports and final closure.

Functions

• Compilation and analysis of documentation for the development of the strategy of the assigned projects.
• Elaboration of the technical and economic planning of the assigned projects.
• Management and team control of assigned projects.
• Manage, supervise and negotiate EPC contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. During the execution of the project, ensure compliance with the procedures.
• Work closely with the purchasing department for the optimization and supervision of resources.
• Ensure that the project is executed on time and according to the approved budget, complying with technical, safety and environmental criteria.

• Follow-up of the progress and quality of the work during all phases of execution, implementing strategies for the prevention and resolution of problems.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience of 10 years in civil works, with at least 5 years in water project management.
• Experience in international projects, desirable in countries with high growth potential in Sub-Saharan Africa and Latam.
• Field experience in the execution of projects.
