Inter-American Development Bank is seeking an IT Support Associate to deliver end-user IT support across Windows 10, MS 365, and conferencing tools at our Representation offices. You will manage standard workstations and assist in IT initiatives, ensuring security and uptime.

You will maintain documentation, tickets, dashboards, and collaborate with local service providers while supporting networking, security, and設備-related solutions as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor-level degree in IT/CS or equivalent.
• 2+ years IT support experience.
• Knowledge of Windows 10, MS 365, AD, and VDI.
• AI familiarity is a plus; familiarity with ITIL is desirable.

What you might do

• Provide end-user IT supportto IDB Group personnel at the Representation, ensuring effective use of IT tools (hardware, software, connectivity, and training resources).


• Provision and manage standard workstationsin accordance with corporate guidelines, supporting assets throughout their full lifecycle.


• Ensure standard web conferencing equipmentis properly maintained and operates at optimal performance levels.


• Assist in the maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networking, telecommunications, security systems, facilities-related solutions, and coordination with local service providers.


• Collaborate in the implementation of new IT initiatives,acting as a liaison to other IT teams and involved areas.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational documentation,ensuring proper registration in ticketing systems, reports, dashboards, and other required platforms.

Requirements

• Education:Academic Degree/ Level or equivalent Years of Professional Work Experience on BSc. Computer Science. Working knowledge in MS Windows 10, MS O365, communication platforms, mobile devices (Android/iOS), MS Active Directory, VMWare/VDI and workstations maintenance. Desirable working knowledge of ITIL processes for incident, service request and knowledge management. Certification is a plus. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and continuous improvement frameworks is a plus.


• Experience:At least 2 years of experience in the IT field. Experience in customer support activities. Experience in Project Management, based on the PMI standard is a plus.


• Additional education/experience:1) Proficiency in AI and generative AI technologies, along with their potential applications; and 2) Extensive understanding of ethical considerations and responsible use of AI.


• Languages:Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is required.
