Job summary

AUSTRIA JUICE Group in Kroellendorf is seeking a Flavour Analyst to join the Flavour Development team. You will analyze flavour compounds using GC-MS/GC-FID and support quality control of raw materials, while coordinating analytical requests for flavourists and performing GC-O to pinpoint odour-active components.

Responsibilities include method development/validation, sample prep (SPME/SPE/LLE), root-cause analysis of quality issues, and maintaining instrument infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Degree in chemistry/food chemistry/biotechnology or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of hands-on GC-MS-based flavours or trace analysis.
• Confident in hyphenated GC techniques (GC-MS, GC-FID, GC-O) as well as HPLC, extraction techniques (SPME, SPE, LLE) and method validation.
• Nice to have GC-olfactometry, flavour chemistry, MS database software (NIST, MassHunter, ChemStation).
• Independent, structured way of working with high quality standards and strong communication skills.
• Business-fluent German and very good English.
