Job summary

Knorr Bremse Group is seeking an on-site technician to maintain rail HVAC systems. You will inspect equipment at customer sites, analyze faults in electrical, mechanical and refrigeration components, and perform independent repairs and component replacements to ensure full system functionality.

Willingness to travel within the DACH region and holding a Class B driver's license are expected. The location is well connected by public transport, with a minimum monthly salary starting at €3,800

Qualifications

• Basic technical training in electrical engineering, mechanics, refrigeration technology, or electronics.
• Good command of English, written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performing inspections of modern HVAC systems in rail vehicles at the customer’s site.
• Analyzing faults in electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components.
• Performing independent repairs and component replacements in the field.
• Ensuring system functionality through final testing.

YOUR PROFILE

• Basic technical training in electrical engineering / mechanics / refrigeration technology / electronics

Good command of English, both written and spoken; any additional language is an advantage

• Willingness to travel on weekdays, primarily within the DACH region
• Class B driver’s license

Our location is very well connected to public transport and only a 5-minute walk from Mödling railway station.

The minimum salary is from € 3,800 gross per month with appropriate qualifications.
