MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair equipment and support daily operations under supervision of department management. The role focuses on boilers, HVAC, and ride systems, with hands-on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting.

Starting pay is $38.14 per hour. Candidate must be 21+, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in resort or theme-park maintenance preferred.
• Allen Bradley PLC, 6G welding certification, or Aircraft A&P experience preferred.
• Willing to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and repair equipment related to boilers, compressors, refrigeration equipment, generators and all equipment driven by steam, electricity, gas, air, diesel, water or other energy.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair ride systems and auxiliary equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems on ride systems and auxiliary equipment.
• Complete work orders.
• Walk daily routes and perform necessary repairs.

The Job

It is the primary responsibility of the Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair all equipment and to assist in the daily operations and activities which they have been assigned and provide administrative and technical support as directed by department management.

THE STARTING RATE:

$38.14/ Hour

The Day-to-day

• Maintain and repair all equipment related to the successful operation of boilers, compressors, refrigeration equipment, generators and all equipment that is driven by steam, electricity, gas, air, diesel, water or any other power developing energy which has to do with or is related to the operation of all mechanical equipment
• Inspect, maintain, and repair ride systems and auxiliary equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems on ride systems and auxiliary equipment
• Complete work orders
• Walk daily routes and make necessary repairs

The Ideal Candidate

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience working in a similar resort setting Preferred
• Experience with theme park maintenance Preferred
• Allen Bradley PLC, 6G welding certification, or Aircraft A&P experience Preferred
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Required
