Job summary

OMICRON electronics GmbH in Austria is seeking an Electrical Engineer for Product Maintenance to keep and enhance the electronics of our existing products, ensuring long-term reliability and durability.

You will design, modify and optimize circuits, evaluate improvement solutions for boards and devices, research components, and coordinate with Operations, HW Development, Compliance and Purchasing to transition new hardware into production.

Qualifications

• A university degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with electronic circuits and troubleshooting devices.
• Interest in supporting and developing existing products.
• Fluency in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop electronics of existing products.
• Implement and evaluate improvement solutions for boards and devices.
• Research and evaluate new components and replacement options.
• Design, modify and optimize circuits.
• Support the transition of hardware designs into production.
