Cognizant is seeking an experienced EBIP Engineer with hands-on expertise in enterprise data integration, Informatica IICS/PowerCenter, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, and Sterling File Gateway for banking platforms.

You will design, develop, test, and support EBIP solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure secure, scalable data exchanges. This role demands hands-on delivery, incident resolution, and continuous improvement in integration workflows.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with Informatica IICS/PowerCenter and IBM Sterling products.
• Strong SQL skills across Oracle/SQL Server/ Teradata or similar.
• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting and enterprise scheduling (Control-M).
• Knowledge of secure file transfer protocols and banking data exchange.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git/Bitbucket, and production deployment support.

Responsabilidades

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced EBIP Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in enterprise data integration, Informatica IICS/PowerCenter, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, Sterling File Gateway, secure file transfer, batch integration, and production support. The role will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, testing, deploying, and supporting EBIP and Sterling-based integration solutions for banking and financial services platforms. The candidate should be able to work independently with business analysts, architects, application teams, infrastructure teams, security teams, and production support teams to deliver stable, secure, and scalable integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, configure, enhance, test, and support EBIP data integration pipelines using Informatica IICS, Informatica PowerCenter, SQL, Unix scripting, Control-M, and related enterprise integration tools.

• Develop and maintain mappings, mapping tasks, task flows, parameterized jobs, reusable components, source-to-target mappings, data validation logic, and technical design documentation for EBIP solutions.

• Design, configure, and support IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and Sterling File Gateway solutions for secure file movement between internal banking applications, external partners, vendors, payment networks, and downstream systems.

• Work on Sterling partner onboarding, mailbox setup, routing channel configuration, business process creation, map development, certificate management, protocol configuration, and secure file transfer setup.

• Configure and support file transfer protocols including SFTP, FTPS, FTP, HTTPS, AS2, Connect:Direct, MQ, and other enterprise communication mechanisms as applicable.

• Develop and maintain Sterling maps, business processes, scripts, routing rules, schedules, envelopes, code lists, adapters, services, and file transfer workflows.

• Analyze business requirements, interface specifications, data flow mappings, file layouts, transformation rules, and reconciliation requirements to create scalable technical solutions.

• Perform unit testing, system testing support, SIT/UAT defect resolution, production validation, deployment support, and post-production monitoring for EBIP and Sterling changes.

• Support release activities including code migration, CI/CD deployment, change request preparation, implementation planning, rollback planning, and production readiness validation.

• Investigate and resolve production incidents, batch failures, file transfer issues, mapping errors, data mismatches, connectivity failures, certificate issues, and performance bottlenecks.

• Prepare and maintain technical design documents, detailed technical designs, mapping specifications, runbooks, operational handbooks, implementation plans, test evidence, and support documentation.

• Collaborate with business teams, solution architects, application teams, testing teams, security teams, infrastructure teams, database teams, vendors, and production support teams for end-to-end delivery.

• Ensure secure data exchange practices including encryption, decryption, PGP/GPG, SSL/TLS, SSH keys, certificates, authentication, auditability, and compliance with banking security standards.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, technical walkthroughs, code reviews, and delivery status reporting.

• Drive continuous improvement in monitoring, automation, alerting, error handling, operational stability, documentation quality, and production support processes.

Experience Required:

• Strong hands‑on experience in Informatica IICS, Informatica PowerCenter, ETL development, mappings, sessions, workflows, task flows, synchronization tasks, parameter files, reusable transformations, and cloud/on‑premise integration patterns.

• Strong hands‑on experience in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Secure Proxy, Sterling maps, business processes, mailbox configuration, partner profiles, routing channels, envelopes, adapters, services, and protocol setup.

• Good understanding of EBIP, EIG, batch integration, enterprise data movement, file‑based integrations, data warehousing concepts, source‑to‑target mapping, data lineage, reconciliation, and operational controls.

• Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, DB2, or similar databases, including complex queries, joins, data validation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation, file handling, job execution, validation, monitoring, and operational support.

• Experience with enterprise job scheduling tools such as Control-M or similar schedulers, including dependency setup, job monitoring, restart procedures, failure analysis, and SLA management.

• Knowledge of secure file transfer protocols and security practices including SFTP, FTPS, FTP, HTTPS, AS2, Connect:Direct, MQ, PGP/GPG, SSL/TLS, SSH keys, certificates, encryption, decryption, and secure authentication.

• Experience with file formats such as flat files, CSV, XML, EDI, fixed‑width files, delimited files, payment files, SWIFT‑related formats, ISO formats, ACH/NACHA, and banking‑specific layouts.

• Experience with deployment and release processes including Git/Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines, code migration, environment promotion, change management, implementation planning, and production deployment support.

• Working knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, SQL Developer, DBeaver, Putty, WinSCP, and monitoring dashboards.
