Job summary

Andersen Lab is seeking a Dynamics 365 Solution Architect to design scalable enterprise solutions across Dynamics 365 Sales, Power Platform, Azure, and Power BI. You will own end-to-end architecture, ensuring security, reliability, and maintainability, while guiding engineering teams and collaborating with product leaders.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on architecture experience in Dynamics 365/Power Platform, strong Dataverse, and proficiency with CI/CD and Azure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Solution Architect/Tech Lead in Dynamics 365/Power Platform.
• Strong expertise in Dynamics 365 Sales and Dataverse.
• Hands-on Power Automate and Power Apps development.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Dynamics 365 using Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

Andersen is hiring a Dynamics 365 Solution Architect for a project designing scalable enterprise solutions, ensuring secure system architecture, and integrating Microsoft business applications.

The customer is an international provider of specialized financial and customer-focused services supported by digital technologies. Its activities span multiple markets, offering tailored solutions that help individuals and businesses address evolving needs and access a range of professional services. By combining industry expertise with modern digital platforms, the company focuses on improving service accessibility, strengthening customer relationships, and enhancing operational efficiency.

The project is focused on designing and implementing scalable enterprise solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, Power Platform, Azure, and Power BI. It aims to ensure secure, reliable, and maintainable system architecture, seamless integration of business applications, and alignment of technology solutions with organizational needs and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Designing and owning end-to-end solution architecture for Dynamics 365 Sales, Dataverse, Power Platform, and Power Apps, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Translating business requirements into technical designs, including data models, security, integrations, and non-functional requirements.
• Creating and maintaining architecture documentation, including solution blueprints, data flows, integration patterns, and architecture decision records.
• Designing and guiding implementations using Power Automate, Canvas/Model-Driven Apps, and Dataverse extensibility.
• Evaluating technology options based on performance, cost, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
• Monitoring Dataverse storage usage, forecasting capacity, configuring alerts, and optimizing storage costs.
• Defining and implementing data retention policies, including archival, deletion, audit logs, and attachment management.
• Establishing and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity strategies, including backups, recovery testing, and RTO/RPO targets.
• Designing and overseeing CI/CD pipelines, ALM processes, and Git-based version control across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Terraform, and Power BI artifacts.
• Establishing engineering standards and governance, ensuring solution performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, conducting architecture/code reviews, and resolving complex technical issues.
• Collaborating with Product Managers, Lead Engineers, and Scrum Masters on requirements, backlog refinement, estimation, sprint delivery, and blocker resolution.
• Acting as the technical point of contact for stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Tech Lead or Senior Engineer in Dynamics 365 / Power Platform / Power Apps for 5+ years.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Dataverse.
• Hands-on experience with Power Automate and workflow automation.
• Strong experience developing Power Apps, including Canvas and Model-Driven Apps.
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines for Dynamics 365 using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of Azure infrastructure (networking, identity, security, monitoring, and core compute/integration services).
• Experience managing Dataverse capacity and storage, defining data retention policies, and designing disaster recovery strategies for Dynamics 365 / Power Platform environments.
• Familiarity with Power Platform governance and security models.
• Experience with Azure services and integrations (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure Synapse)
• Experience with Git-based version control systems.
• Strong understanding of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) on Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Availability to take the on-call duty, including but not limited to, during nights and weekends to support Broad Arrow Live Auctions.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Hands-on experience building Azure infrastructure using Terraform scripts.
• Hands-on experience building Power BI reports, including both paginated reports and semantic model reports.
• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform (e.g., PL-600 Power Platform Solution Architect), Azure or Power BI.
