Job summary

LG Electronics is seeking a strategic demand planner to forecast sell-in for the next five months and build weekly distribution plans by customer for the current month. You will report progress to senior management and HQ and coordinate with sales, logistics, and HQ on demand updates and imports.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering, 4–5 years of relevant experience, advanced English, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering is required.
• 4–5 years experience in similar functions.
• Advanced English level and advanced Excel (a test will be taken).

Responsibilities

• Plan the sell-in forecast for the next 5 months.
• Develop a weekly merchandise distribution plan by customer for the current month.
• Report sell-in progress weekly to senior management and HQ.
• Develop and report a clearance plan for Long‑Term Inventory (LTI) for current/following month.
• Develop and report a clearance plan for Non-Goodset Inventory (NGSI) for the current month.
• Update demand in the GDMI system weekly based on market behavior.
• Coordinate with sales on customer demand and purchase orders; manage KPIs.
• Maintain coordination with logistics on imports and PO shipments.
• Coordinate with HQ and manufacturing on demand updates and imports.
• Follow up with departments to achieve CEO/HQ objectives.

We are looking for someone to handle strategic demand planning based on market behavior.

What you will do?

• Planning the "sell-in" forecast for the next 5 months.
• Developing a weekly merchandise distribution plan by customer for the current month.
• Reporting "sell-in" sales progress on a weekly basis to senior management and HQ.
• Developing and reporting a clearance plan for LTI (Long-Term Inventory) for the current and following month.
• Developing and reporting a clearance plan for NGSI (Non-Goodset Inventory) for the current month.
• Updating demand in the system (GDMI) on a weekly basis, based on market behavior.
• Coordinating with the sales team regarding customer demand and purchase orders, as well as managing relevant KPIs.
• Maintaining ongoing coordination with the logistics team regarding merchandise imports and the tracking of purchase order shipments.
• Coordinating with HQ and manufacturing facilities regarding demand updates and merchandise imports.
• Following up with various relevant departments to ensure the achievement of objectives set by the CEO and HQ.

What you must have?

• Degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering
• 4 or 5 years experience similar functions
• Advanced english level
• Advanced Excel (we will take a test)
