Mace is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to lead the Accounts Receivable and Payable teams in Arequipa, Peru. The role involves overseeing invoice processing, vendor payments, cash application, and ensuring compliance with Peruvian tax obligations.

Formación

• Chartered Accountant with strong technical accounting expertise.
• Experience of working in a Finance department.
• Proven experience managing financial systems and Peruvian tax obligations.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Lead and manage the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams.
• Oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, collections, customer billing, and cash application.
• Manage multi-currency transactions and foreign exchange impacts.
• Perform and review bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Partner with Treasury and Finance teams to support cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Monitor aging reports and drive collection efforts to improve DSO.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and compliance with company policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Support audits and provide documentation for internal and external auditors.
• Maintain relationships with banking partners and key vendors.
• Prepare management reporting and KPI dashboards.

You’ll Need To Have

• Chartered Accountant with strong technical accounting expertise and Oracle systems experience.
